What is the ONE HUNDRED FOR FINANCIAL FREEDOM CAMPAIGN?
Grassroots Organizations needs grassroots investments. Faith in Action seeks to develop the support of Individual Donors to to make contributions of $10.00 per month.
Why is this campaign vital?
Faith in Action has a goal of financial ownership from ordinary people like you and Emilia. Our supporters are people that understand the importance of giving to the organizing of people to change communities together, especially in underserved and low-income communities. Our supporters understand the we serve a God of abundance, and must challenge the myth of scarcity and individualism. The story of Birmingham is also the story of America. Together, we can decide how to write it.
What do you get in return?
You are supporting the change we want to see in America, where people come first. This is very difficult without a grassroots organization led by people of faith committed sustaining to building a powerful and organizing voice to advance a programmatic and policy agenda that benefits all people, especially low-income and working families. We are taking on local, state, and national issues, ranging from better public schools to more affordable housing. We are developing leaders to take care of our communities as we enter the uncertain political climate of 2012. We are teaching leaders not only how to share their stories, but how to rewrite them and change the world.
Throughout the year, supporters will be listed on our website and receive regular updates from everyday people that are building this organization and changing their communities. You can view one of them by clicking on Emilia above.
